I grew up in Upstate New York (not the city) and have lived in two other states before moving to North Carolina where I now reside. I am a Multipotentialite meaning I do not have one but many “true callings” or interests. My wife and I are both photographers; in addition I am also a logo designer, and graphic designer. I’m also an avid outdoors person, I don’t really like being bored so I’ll try just about anything, currently I surf and mountain bike, but while in Colorado I also mountain climbed, paddle boarded and kayaked. I was raised on adventure and the belief that everyone has something to teach me, this and other things make me kind of an old soul, a really salty old soul who doesn’t care what social norms are and is never content to settle. I couldn’t tell you what chapter of my story I’m in but I always look forward to what happens next!
I think that the very first time I started messing around with a camera when I was a kid was when I decided that photography was going to become a huge passion for me. Growing up in the quiet little town of Elizabeth, CO slightly jaded me before I moved to Denver after graduating high school. Suddenly there was this huge and exciting new atmosphere and endless possibilities to what I could accomplish. I earned an Associates in Business Administration and kept my heart set on taking the best photos I could in order to portray whatever it was that I was photographing. My life has not always been easy, obstacles come and go, but I can see the world in a way that some people will never understand. Something my husband likes to mention often is that I have fiery red hair and the personality to prove it.
